I was put in contact with Lincoln when her photographer had to cancel due to a family emergency.  The first time I met Lincoln was in the bridal suite at Pickwick Farms, in Bucyrus, Ohio where she and her bridesmaids were getting ready.

Her dress!  Oh it was one of the most elegantly simple gowns I've ever seen.  It was just perfect for her.

The entire bridal party looked like they had just walked out of a GQ magazine.  A photographer's dream.  The reception room was beautiful, with twinkling fairy lights overhead, a hanging barn door by the big dance floor.  Everything was perfect.

Outside it was crazy-windy, but the family and bridal party stuck it out so we could get some beautiful photos for Lincoln & Caleb.  I think it was well worth it.

The ceremony was a blend of Catholic and Jewish traditions.  My favorite part was when the officiant invited all of the guests to greet each other "with a sign of peace" and people began shaking hands and hugging all around the room.  It was beautiful.

Did I mention how beautiful this couple is?  Not only on the outside, but I knew within a few minutes of meeting them both that they were truly sweet, kind honest people.  I do believe they've found their happily ever after in one another.

At the end of the night as I began to pack up to leave, Lincoln's brother pulled me aside and made a special request that I photograph their bridal party (and significant others) a little while longer.  I had to agree, after all he was the first person to put a cold icy drink in my hand after standing outside in the sweltering heat and high winds, taking family photos.  :)  Just looking at this picture you can see how well these two are, and how much support they are going to get in their union.  Xoxoxo
